Welcome to our happy dance home in Midland, TX! We’re so excited to dance through a new season with you. From tiny tots to teens (ages 2–18), our classes are designed to bring joy, confidence, and creativity in a fun, professional environment.
From our caring staff to our beautiful, state-of-the-art facility, everything at Absolute Dance is designed to help your dancer shine, grow, and feel right at home.

Frequently Asked Questions
What classes should my child sign up for?
Class placement is based on your dancer's age as of September 1, 2025.
-Ages 2-6: Select the class that matches your dancer's age as of that date, in the dance styles you prefer.
-Ages 7+: Dancers advance through leveled classes specific to each dance style. Each level is typically recommended for a minimum of
two years before progressing to the next.
If you're unsure about which class is the best fit, we're ready to assist you with placement!
We offer both performing classes (which participate in our annual recital) and non-performing classes. Be sure to check the class description for the class because it will let you know whether a class is performing or non-performing.
Please note: Dancers must be potty trained to enroll.
Can we observe class?
Yes! Our lobby monitors are available for viewing during all regular class times, so you can enjoy seeing your child dance from the comfort of a cozy seat in the lobby. To help keep the classroom a safe and focused space for dancers, we ask that parents remain in the lobby during regular class time.
Parents are also invited to observe during Preview Weeks, held once each quarter! During these weeks, parents are invited into the classroom for the last 10 minutes of class to see what their dancer has been working on. Preview Weeks are scheduled for the following dates:
-October 13-18: Fall Parent Preview Week
-December 8-13: Winter Parent Preview Week (Non-Ballet Classes)
-February 9-14: Spring Parent Preview Week
What's included in annual tuition?
Your tuition covers more than just weekly dance classes! It's an investment in your child's growth and development throughout the entire season. We believe dance is about more than just movement. It's about nurturing life skills, creativity, and a lifelong love of the arts. We're proud to offer a high-quality, enriching experience for every student. Here's what's included in tuition:
Weekly Dance Classes: A full season of weekly classes (August–May) carefully structured and taught by experienced instructors.
Age-Appropriate Curriculum: Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed for each age group to support not only dance technique, but also coordination, confidence, teamwork, and discipline.
Progressive Learning Environment: We focus on long-term development, with clear goals and milestones to keep students motivated and progressing to reach their goals with support from instructors.
End-of-Season Celebration Events: We wrap up the dance year with special events that recognize your dancer's hard work, growth, and accomplishments! It's a joyful way to celebrate the season together!
What if my dancer misses a class?
We're happy to offer make-up classes for excused absences, based on availability in a similar class for the same age and level. Just reach out to the front desk to schedule!
How does billing work?
Tuition is billed on the 1st of each month, from August through May. It's an annual tuition amount divided into 10 equal monthly installments, so the amount stays the same each month (regardless of how many classes fall within that month). You may also choose to pay the annual tuition in full. Holidays and studio breaks are already factored into the total pricing.
Auto-pay is required for monthly installment payments. Payments can be made by credit/debit card or electronic funds transfer (EFT). If needed, we also accept cash or check payments at the front desk.
Please note that tuition is non-refundable, and a $30 late fee will be added if payment hasn't been received by the 15th of the month. A $30 returned payment fee will be added to EFT payments that fail.
How do I withdraw from class?
While we'd hate to see you go, if you need to withdraw from a class, please submit a withdrawal form by the 20th of the month using our Google Form. This deadline helps ensure that tuition won't be charged for the following month. Just reach out to the front desk and we'll send you the link!

We send out monthly newsletters and important studio updates by email, so be sure your contact information is always up to date!
